According to law (wet “Kopen op Afstand”), customers who buy online are able to return their purchase within 14 days after receiving it. The products you are returning must be in their original packaging, unopened and undamaged.
Before returning, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to notify Paper & Twine you are returning your purchase. Add your name, bankaccount number and invoice number or a copy of the original invoice to the email. Alternatively, you can make use of the revocation form (download it here).
The customer is responsible for appropriate packaging for the returning items. If possible, send back in the box in which they came. If that box is too big, make sure to fill it up with newspaper or something similar so the products are secure within the box. Alternatively, send the products back in a smaller box that fits them properly.
If Paper & Twine does not receive the returned products, you will not get a refund.
If Paper & Twine does not receive the returned products, but you have sent them as 'registered mail' you have a way of 'proving' you've returned the items in the proper manner. If it then becomes clear it has been lost in the mail, you will receive your refund nonetheless and the loss will be for Paper & Twine.
The costs of returning the purchased products are for the customer. This is also applies if you choose to return your products via registered mail. These costs include any packaging supplies you might need to return the products.
Paper & Twine reasonably assumes products that are wrapped in transparent packaging (such as cups, plates, straws etc.), don't need opening to assess if they are what you expected. These items are to be returned unopened. Paper & Twine can't take back pompoms that have been assembled (unfolded). Any other products that have been opened are to be returned in their original packaging, both should be undamaged.
Paper & Twine does not accept returned products with packaging that has been ripped.
Paper & Twine does not accept returned products that have been used or damaged in any way. If the products arrived to your address damaged, please send a description and picture of the damaged parcel and/or products (within 24hours of receiving the order) to email@example.com.
In the case of discount(code)s: customers may not return products in order to buy them again with a discount. If you already received a discountcode beforehand and forgot to use it, please email me immediately after placing the order at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once the returned products are received by Paper & Twine and all of the above conditions apply, you will receive your refund within 7 days to the bankaccount number you have given.
